Mr. M. Tausif - Consultant Podiatrist

BSc (Hons) Podiatric Medicine

MSc (Clinical Biomechanics), McPod

Since childhood, I've harboured a deep-seated passion for sports, particularly cricket, which sparked my fascination with musculoskeletal conditions and biomechanical injuries.

Following the completion of my BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine at the University of Huddersfield, I gained valuable experience working within the NHS and private practices in West Yorkshire. Subsequently, I relocated to the Midlands to specialize as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Podiatrist, concentrating on Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Recently, I attained my Master’s in Clinical Biomechanics, enriching my skill set with tools such as Gait analysis, sports biomechanics, and Podopaediatrics.

In addition to my academic qualifications, I've pursued further training in various areas, including running injuries, kinesiology taping, soft tissue and joint mobilization, foot and ankle strengthening techniques, and biomechanics workshops.

Despite not being an avid runner, I was encouraged to participate in the Birmingham half marathon, where I achieved a commendable time of 1 hour and 57 minutes!

When not immersed in my professional pursuits, you'll often find me engaging in cricket, squash, and badminton in the Harborne and Edgbaston areas. Don't hesitate to say hello if you happen to cross paths with me.
